The great resignation epidemic
It all begins with an idea. Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the escalated tensions that came with work-from-home mandates, also came feelings of seclusion, dwindling group think, watered down creative co-working sessions and so much more. Many employees who already teetered on the fence of “should I stay or should I go” were forced to stay in a position where they were unhappy, struggling to maintain a manageable work-life balance and inevitably pulled the plug on their tenured career.
This is what we now know as the Great Resignation movement of 2021. When you don’t feel your best, you don’t operate at your best. It’s not rocket science. If you make decisions based on real time emotional knee jerk reactions, you wind up even more lost and overwhelming feelings of remorse, regret and imposter syndrome settle in for the long ride.
So, we go from one global pandemic, COVID-19, to a workforce epidemic, the Great Resignation. How do we keep employees operating at their best intellectual, mental and emotional levels while keeping them motivated to stay working for their company in their industry, in which they’ve already invested so much of their time?
That’s how SCRIBE came to be. A society of where commercial real estate influential businesswomen and entrepreneurs can come together in a safe place, hear and learn from their peers on how to maximize their success rate by focusing on their health and wellness; because as stated before, if you don’t feel your best, you will not operate at your best.
Our mission through SCRIBE is to influence, inspire, educate and motivate professional females in the corporate world to better themselves from the inside out.
